Day 01: UK airport
- Vienna (50kms)
Meet your tour manager at UK airport and receive your flight
tickets to board your flight to Vienna. On arrival at Vienna
airport, clear immigrations & customs and board the coach.
Your day starts with an interesting tour taking in the best
known highlights of Baroque Vienna, for centuries the seat
of the powerful Habsburg Empire, and also known as the 'City
of Music'. You first visit the Schonbrunn Palace (from outside)
to view the elegant gardens. Later you set your watches back
100 years as you enjoy the musical city of Vienna. You will
see the famous landmarks like the Grand State Opera House,
Parliament building and the impressive Town Hall, before strolling
around Heroes Square to marvel at the vast Hofburg Palace,
home to 22 museums and St. Charles Church.

Day 02: Vienna
- Zagreb (400kms)
After breakfast, you'll drive towards Zagreb. On arrival you
have a city tour of Zagreb, including the upper and lower
town including the Stone gate, which was reconstructed in
1760 and has not been touched since the Marijina Uznesenje
Cathedral founded in 1903. Continue to see the 14th century
Church of St. Marco and the President's Palace and Parliament.

Day 03: Zagreb
- Plitvice Lakes National Park - Dubrovnik (630kms)
After breakfast, you'll drive through the Croatian country
side to Plitvice Lakes National Park. Croatia's famous land
mark which has been granted World Heritage site status by
UNESCO in 1979. The beauty of the National park lies in its
16 glimmering turquoise-blue lakes connected by a series of
waterfalls. Take a walk along the lakes to get the best views
of the water falls. Later continue towards Dubrovnik.

Day 04: Dubrovnik

Today a day to explore Dubrovnik: known as the 'Pearl of the
Adriatic'. Dubrovnik is perched on a promontory that juts
into the sparkling blue waters of the Adriatic Sea. The city
is famed for its striking buildings, squares and fortified
walls as well as its plentiful shops, cafes and restaurants.
During the day you enjoy a walking tour of the city introducing
you to Rector's Palace, Dubrovnik city walls, Onofrio's fountain,
The Strandun and Fort Monceta,

Day 05: Dubrovnik
- Split - Zadar (450kms)
Today's highlight of the tour is the exhilarating drive along
the cypress-lined Adriatic coast bringing us to the port-city
of Split. Founded by the Emperor Diocletian in 305AD when
he built a palace for his retirement, and as the palace grew
so did the city. You visit the Diocletian's palace (from outside)
- a well preserved fortress that was once encircled by 750
foot walls. Highlights include remains of the original palace,
a colonnaded square and the Temple of Jupiter. After lunch
you continue towards Zadar. The city with a soul. Your city
tour will show you Gate of St Rok, Square of the five wells
and much more.

Day 06: Zadar
- Ljubljana - Lake Bled (470kms)
After breakfast a short drive brings us to the Slovenian Capital,
Ljubljana, known as the 'White City' because of the many Baroque
elegant buildings. Our city tour shows us the Opera House,
the Cathedral of St. Nicholas, the National Museum and the
medieval castle which sits on the hill above the town as an
ancient guardian. After the city tour you continue towards
Lake Bled where you stay for the next 2 nights.

Day 07: Lake Bled

Today you enjoy an orientation tour of this beautiful resort.
Lake Bled desbribed as 'paradise on earth', the idyllic Lake
surrounded by Julian Alps and Karawanken Mountains. It was
here that the Yugoslavia Royal Family once had a summer home
and also it was the location of the summer residence of President
Tito. Your orientation includes visiting the Bled castle.
This afternoon, take an optional excursion to the famous caves
at Postojna to see the awe-inspiring stalactites and stalagmites
or visit the Church on the island in the centre of Lake bled.

Day 08: Lake Bled
- Graz - UK (420kms)
Today you head north where we stop at Graz to admire its galleried
courtyards and famous clock tower. Later you continue towards
Vienna to catch you flight back home.
