Day 02: Vilnius city
tour - Trakai (60kms)
Vilnius is known for its more than 1200 medieval buildings and
48 churches. The morning sightseeing tour includes a panoramic
tour of the city and a walking tour of the Old Town with Vilnius
Cathedral, Gediminas Tower, Peter and Paul Church, St. Anne's
Church, Old University and the Gates of Dawn: The Former Soviet
KGB headquarters. The afternoon offers an excursion to Trakai,
the medieval capital of Lithuania, with the well preserved Trakai
Castle, beautifully located on an island in Lake Galve.

Day 04: Riga city
tour - Jurmala seaside resort (50kms)
This morning you have a city orientation tour of Riga. Riga,
founded in 1201 by the German bishop Albert, is the largest
of the three Baltic capitals and boasts a real kaleidoscope
of architectural styles. The walking tour of the Old Town
includes Riga Castle, the Dome Cathedral, St. Peter's Church,
the Swedish Gate, the Three Brothers, the Large and Small
Guilds and the Freedom Monument. In the afternoon you'll visit
Jurmala seaside resort the largest seaside and balneotherapy
resort in the Baltic States. The city of Jurmala is unique
for its natural resources like curative mineral waters, medical
healing mud, pine forests, sand dunes and beach.

Day 05: Riga -
Turaida - Gauja National Park - Tallinn (350kms)
After breakfast, depart for Turaida Museum Reserve - covering
42 hectares, Turaida Castle is the soaring red brick tower
of the resorted 13th century from where you can have a breathtaking
view across the Gauja river valley, visit the church dating
from 1750 and the memorial place of the 'Turaida Rose'. You
continue on tour this morning to take us to the stunning scenery
of the Gauja National Park and the town of Sigulda, often
called the 'Latvian Switzerland', because of the beauty of
its landscape. You'll listen to the medieval Latvian legend
of the Rose of Turaida, and see Maija's Tombstone, the ruins
of the Episcopal Castle and the mysterious Gutman Cave before
you commence your journey to Tallinn.

Day 06: Tallinn
city tour - Rocce Al Mare (40kms)
Tallinn is a charming blend of medieval tranquillity and modern
urban life. The medieval Old Town is a busy place in the summer
with its many shops, galleries, souvenir markets, outdoor
cafés and restaurants. The orientation tour takes us
around the old medieval city walls and into the Old Town where
you see Toompea Castle, the Dome Church, Alexander Nevsky
Cathedral, medieval Old Town Hall and Kadriorg Palace (photo
stop), founded in 1721 by Russian Emperor Peter the Great,
as a summer residence for his wife. After lunch you visit
Rocca Al-Mare Parkmuseum, a spacious exposition of 18th century
Estonian country life.

Day 07: Tallinn - UK (50kms)
Today morning free for some last minute shopping. Depending
on the time of your return flight, you will be transferred
to the airport for your return flight to UK.
