Day 1 Rome Meet
and greet upon arrival and proceed directly to your hotel for Check in. (Check
in 1400hrs). Rest of the day is free at leisure to enjoy Rome. Overnight at Hotel. Day
2 Rome - Florence Breakfast
at Hotel, Morning Rome Eternal Tour - (SIC Basis) (Pick up from Some Hotels).
You will start your tour and then pass by Republica Square and its Nymph Fountain,
constructed by Mario Rutelli. We continue by Veneto Ave. to the "Piazza di
Spagna", the most famous square in Rome, with its impressive 138 steps stair
and the Barcaccia fountain, (built by Bernini) (tour). Later on, we visit the
"Fontana di Trevi", made by Nicola Salvi, and the Pantheon, an enormous
building constructed by the Ancient Rome, admired and studied by Michelangelo.
We end up our tour with a visit in the Navone Square, a typical baroque square
where Cesare Domiciano had built an Stadium in 92 B.C. The tour will last for
around 3 hours. Later return to your hotel on your own. In the afternoon departure
transfer to Railway Station to connect your train to Florence. Meet upon
arrival and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day you are free to enjoy
Florence. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 3 Florence - Venice
Breakfast
at Hotel, Proceed for your own way to the starting point of this tour at Piazza
della Repubblica at the "Caffè Le Giubbe Rosse". Tour starts
at 1000hrs daily except Mondays.(If you are in Florence on Monday then it will
be replaced with a One Day Open Bus Ticket.) Guided Florence Walking Tour - (SIC
Basis). This itinerary allows you to discover the origins of Florence and the
reasons that made her the birthplace of the Renaissance. The tour, which lasts
about 2 hours, is dedicated to all those who wish to learn more about the facts
and secrets of over 2,000 years of Florentine history, city of Dante, Leonardo
da Vinci, Michelangelo, and other important figures. We leave from Piazza della
Repubblica where we discuss the city's Roman origins and then walk towards nearby
Palazzo Davanzati whose interior we shall visit. Afterwards we amble through some
of the less crowded streets towards Ponte Vecchio and finally enter Piazza Signoria
through the Uffizi courtyard. Make your own way back to your hotel. Later departure
transfer to Florence Railway Station to connect your train to Venice St Lucia
Station. Arrive in Venice and you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight
at Hotel. Day
4 Venice Breakfast
at Hotel, in the morning make your own way to the Tourist Office - Plaza San Marcos
by 0900hrs. Guided Walking Tour of Venice. This interesting tour centered around
the history of St. Mark's Square and its main monuments. Visiting the St. Mark's
Basilica wirth its marble and mosaics and the Ducal Palace where the old Republic
of Venice exercised their political and commercial powers in the Doge Palace.
Crossing the Bridge of Sighs arriving at the famous Venice Jail. Finishing off
the tour and with the opportunity to visit the glass factory on the island of
Murano. (The visit to Murano is optional and not included in the Walking Tour).
The rest of the afternoon free to explore Venice. Overnight at Hotel. Day
5 Venice - Milan Breakfast
at Hotel, Departure Transfer to train station to connect train to Milan. (Standard
Train Ticket Included). Arrive and transfer to your hotel. Check in Hotel. Free
to discover Milan for shopping. Overnight at Hotel. Day
6 Milan - Zurich Breakfast
at Hotel, Morning free to explore Milan and then in the afternoon departure transfer
to train station to connect your train to Zurich. (Standard Train Travel Included).
Meet upon arrival in Zurich Train Station and transfer to your hotel. Check in
Hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight at Hotel. Day
7 Zurich - Mt Titlis - Lucerne - Zurich Breakfast
at Hotel, Proceed to the starting point of this tour at Zurich Bus Station. Full
Day Tour of Mt Titlis and Lucerne. (SIC Basis). An adventure excursion to the
highest vantage point in Central Switzerland. A pleasant ride with our deluxe
motor coach takes you to the mountain resort of Engelberg in Central Switzerland,
where you will board the Aerial Cableway for a 45 minute journey from the green
valley bottom to the high alpine glacier region at 3020 m/10000 ft which guarantees
snow the whole year round. Enjoy a magnificent ride in the world's first ever
revolving 'ROTAIR' gondola, which offers a 360° panoramic view into the Alps.
During the 2 hours stay on the mountain visit the Ice Grotto, experience the new
'Ice Flyer' - chair lift ride over the glacier with fantastic views into crevasses
and ice falls and enjoy a snow slide on the 'Fun lift'. (These activities are
included in our tour). After the descent to Engelberg we board our coach for a
drive to Lucerne, time at leisure (approx. 1 hour) for sightseeing and shopping
before the coach takes you back to Zurich.
Day 8 Zurich - Paris
Breakfast
at Hotel, departure transfer to Zurich Train Station to connect to your train
to Frankfurt. (Standard Class Train Ticket Included). Meet upon arrival in Frankfurt
Train Station and transfer to your hotel. Check in Hotel (1400hrs). Rest of the
afternoon free at leisure. Overnight at Hotel. Day
9 Paris Breakfast
at Hotel, in the morning make your own way to 214, rue de Rivoli, 75001 Paris
to join the Paris Panoramic City Tour (SIC Basis) - This excursion will enable
you to discover Paris from three different viewpoints, firstly from a coach with
a one hour and a half drive in the city, secondly from a boat cruise down the
Seine, taking you back through 2000 years of Paris history adn then finally an
elevator ride up to the 2nd floor of the Eiffel Tower for a breathtaking panoramic
view. The excursion will end at the Eiffel Tower. Make your own way back to your
hotel. The rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight at Hotel. Day
10 Paris - London Breakfast
at Hotel, Morning free to explore Paris, later departure transfer to Train Station
to connect to your Eurostar Train to London. (Standard Class Train Ticket Included).
Meet and transfer to your hotel. Check in Hotel. Overnight at Hotel. Day
11 London Breakfast
at Hotel, Sights and Sounds of London Tour - (SIC Basis). The day begins with
a drive past many of London's famous monuments - the Houses of Parliament with
Big Ben, Downing Street, the official London residence of the British Prime Minister,
Trafalgar Square with the statue of Lord Nelson, Pall Mall and much more. We will
make a photo stop at this magnificent Gothic building that has been the site of
every coronation since 1066 and is also the final resting place of many Kings
and Queens of England, as well as famous people including Sir Laurence Olivier,
Charles Dickens and Sir Isaac Newton. We alight at Buckingham Palace, to witness
the Queen's Foot Guard in their red tunics and bearskins marching to the accompaniment
of a military band - a colourful spectacle (Or we will visit Horseguards Parade
when this ceremony not available). Tour ends at Buckingham Palace at approx 10.30am.
Afternoon is free at leisure to shop in London. Overnight at Hotel Day
